Firstly can I say thanks for the great support today it was great to see Rich Waldrum and managers from older age groups coming down to watch our under 8s.
The game started with the wind,rain and snow blowing straight at us and immediately we were on the back foot but we stood strong and with Zak and Iestyn defending well and Louis making some great saves we were looking good, but Belvedere just kept coming back at us with their big number 9 (who made Zak look small) powering his way through and making chances but Zak had him covered. Belvedere had a shot from just outside the box but Louis saved it and it went out for another corner, they put a great ball in and the shot was blocked but fell nice for Belvedere to blast one past Louis. 1-0 Belvedere. A goal kick went through and found Tom Hart who had his first shot on target. The goalie could only put it out for a corner which Harry took. It was bouncing round the box long enough for Harry to gather it up and have a shot just wide. The goal kick found a Belvedere player who hit it first time and nearly scored (I knew you had it covered Louis). Their big number 9 had a run at Iestyn but Iestyn came out on top, Harry gathered the ball and put Tom Hart through. He beat the defender took a shot and scored 1-1. Belvedere broke from the kick off and caught us off guard and got a goal 2-1 Belvedere. They then got another corner and with the wind to their advantage it goes in 3-1 Belvedere.

The second half we had the wind,rain and snow to our back but from the kickoff they came straight at us but Louis made another great save, a big kick from Louis saw the ball in their half and we won a corner which Harry took, it fell to Tom Hart who hit it with his left foot straight in the back of the net 3-2 and game on !! Belvedere had a good chance from a corner but Louis again a great reaction save that kept us in it. Mat found himself in centre midfield beating a player then putting Tom Hart through but their defender got there first. Mat was working hard in midfield and it nearly payed off for him as Thomas W intercepted a Belvedere throw and a lovely little flick with the outside of his boot put mat through on goal. The defender just got a touch which took the pace off the ball unlucky mate. The goal kick went as far as Iestyn who put it back up field, Thomas W gathers the ball goes round a player then he put it through to Tom Hart who took it beautifully. He turned and shot the goalie didn`t stand a chance (another clip for the videos page Rich) 3-3 and we looked like we were going to win it. Harry took a corner that was cleared out as far as Iestyn who had a shot just inside their half that only just went wide. Belvedere had a couple of half chances that Zak and Iestyn dealt with. Max did a great clearance that found Tom Hart who was on for his fourth goal but he couldn`t get any power on it. Another clearance bounced nice for Tom Hart who hit it on the half volley, it cleared the keeper and went in but the play was pulled back for a injured player. The drop ball was won by Harry who linked up with Mat who put him through on goal the shot was on target but their defence was on the ball. The last few minutes saw Marlborough have about four or five shots at goal with Mat, Max , Tom H. Harry showed his skill dribbling past two or three players then getting his pass away. Great stuff today lads you all played brilliant and put on a great show for all the people that came down to watch.
