A very difficult game today with Iestyn away and Zak ,Harry and Thomas W not at full strength through illness we were on the back foot right from the start. But we defended very well in front of goal and with Louis making some great saves it kept us in the game.We finally got the ball up to Tom Hart who had a shot from distance that made their goalie work hard to stop it.Uttoxeter came back at us with a shot that was deflected when Zak came sliding in to stop the shot it wrong footed Louis and went in 1-0 Uttoxeter. Mat was outstanding today all over the pitch with his endless energy and great tackles well done mate. The first half ended 1-0. We were pinned back in our half again for the start of the second half and with some great saves from Louis it kept our hopes up. A clearance from Max deep in our half found Tom Hart who had a run up the left side the only thing their defence could do was put it out for a corner Alex steps up and hits it beautifully ,curling in it hit a defender and went in 1-1 GAME ON !! Uttoxeter came straight back and got two goals from two very good shots from distance 3-1 Uttoxeter. Mat came close to scoring but the pass was just a bit to strong for him to control. Mat then takes a throw which fell to Alex who slotted the ball through to Tom Hart. Who then poked it past the keeper 3-2 .Uttoxeter came back strong sensing we could get another goal but a shot straight at Louis seemed to bobble just in front of him and went in. Unlucky mate you did a great job today 4-2. Another great ball through from Alex found Tom Hart who's shot was inches wide. You were outstanding today Tom keep it up.A few seconds later the final whistle went.

Big thanks to Harry who managed to play about 10-15 mins and took a ball in his face , get better for next week mate.

Zak you were awesome today even though you couldn`t see very well.

Thomas W was still willing to get stuck in all game even though he was under the weather ,well done mate this is the commitment that will make us a great TEAM!!
